A cross-border remittance startup onboarded every customer by hand — identity documents arrived by email, a compliance officer reviewed them within three business days, and balances were tracked in a spreadsheet that had to be reconciled against the payment processor each morning. There was no mobile app at all, and the manual process could not survive the volume the company had already signed up for.
02The Solution
We shipped a single Flutter codebase for iOS and Android with biometric login, wired identity verification into an automated KYC/AML provider that runs document and liveness checks in-session and escalates only ambiguous cases to a compliance queue, and replaced the spreadsheet with a double-entry ledger service that records every transfer, fee, and payout as immutable balanced entries.
